Privacy
I make ugly things, not data empires. Here is everything this site collects and where it goes. Last updated November 6, 2026.
Looking around
No analytics, no ad pixels, no tracking cookies. The site is hosted on Cloudflare, which keeps short lived request logs (IP address, page, browser) to run and protect the service. I do not get a dashboard of who you are.
Your cart lives in your own browser (local storage) and never leaves it until you check out.
Adopting something
Checkout runs on Stripe. Stripe collects your name, email, card details and, if the item ships, your address. I never see your card number. Stripe sends me your name, email, what you adopted and the shipping address so I can send it. Stripe's own policy is at stripe.com/privacy.
I keep the order (name, email, address, what you got) so I can ship it, answer questions and do my taxes. Order emails go out through Resend, an email service, which processes your email address to deliver them.
The waitlist
If you leave your email for Feed the Machine, I store that email and use it for exactly one thing: telling you when commission slots open. Nothing else, ever. Reply to any email from me and I will delete it.
Finding one in the wild
When you report a found RAMdum, I store the name you gave it, your first name if you shared it, the town, your note, and a photo if you added one. I read every report before anything shows publicly. What goes public is the creature's name, the town, your note and the photo. Your email, if you left one, is private, is only used to tell you the report was approved, and is never shown anywhere.
The robot check
The waitlist and finder forms use Cloudflare Turnstile to keep bots out. Turnstile may process your IP address, browser details and a few interaction signals to decide you are a person. It does not show you traffic lights. Cloudflare's policy is at cloudflare.com/privacypolicy.
Photos and the site itself
Item photos, finder photos and the card artwork are stored on Cloudflare R2. Fonts load from Google Fonts, which sees your IP address when it serves them.
Links out
Instagram and the Ko-fi tip jar are their own websites with their own rules. Once you click, you are in their house.
Kids
This site is for adults, or kids with an adult's card. I do not knowingly collect anything from anyone under 13. If a kid filled in the finder form, email me and I will remove it.
Your rights, the short version
Ask me what I have about you, ask me to fix it, or ask me to delete it. Email hello@ramdum.com. I will do it, and I will not be weird about it. Order records may stay in Stripe as long as the law makes me keep receipts.
Changes
If this page changes, the date at the top changes with it. No surprise clauses.
