I make ugly things.

Hi. I'm Brittany. I live in Manhattan, Kansas, and I make small clay creatures that are wrong on purpose. Lumpy. Cross-eyed. Emotionally unavailable. I call them RAMdums.

Most of them I give away. I put them in little plastic domes and leave them around town for strangers to find. So far that is 1,285 of them out there living their lives. If you found one, tell me what you named it.

Some of them I sell. It is not a purchase, it is an adoption. You pay an adoption fee, you get the creature, and you get its official papers so there is no going back. The ones that get adopted stay on the site forever in the flock.

If you want one made from your own nonsense, you can feed the machine. Three words in, one creature out. No revisions. No menu. That is the whole deal.

You can also find me in real life. I have a shelf at Whichcraft A Makers Market (@whichcraftamakersmarket). The creatures on that shelf do not have QR codes yet, so technically they are off the grid.
